William P. Tetley, attorney

Contract and Property Law

Me Tetley’s focus in this field of law is resolving disputes regarding the ownership of property whether these are apartment buildings, condominiums or multiple dwellings in the Greater Montreal area and beyond.  Frequently this work involves the interpretation of notarial deeds, contracts, leases, and, “Last Wills and Testaments” regarding property held in division or indivision.  More often than not these disputes are between family members.

When the parties are not able to reach an agreement, William represents them before the Quebec Superior Court and the Court of Appeal

Immigration Law

Me Tetley’s focus in this field of law involves applications for the acquisition for temporary and permanent residence in Canada through:

       Study Permits;

       Work Permits;

       From Abroad Spousal Sponsorships (in which a client brings their partner and children into Canada);

       Entrepreneur and Investor files.

Me Tetley also represents immigration clients whose cases have been refused, whether this be before the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB) or the Federal Court of Canada.  Many of these cases involve issues of criminal and medical inadmissibility.
