William's Advice
Yes. Why don’t you briefly tell me about your situation and I’ll tell you what I can do?
That depends on what I have to do for you as your lawyer. Before determining the approximate cost of a file, I need to give you a “Consultation”.
A Consultation is an interview in which you tell me the details of your case and provide me any important documents that you may have. I answer your questions and advise you of your rights and obligations.
The price of a Consultation depends on the complexity of the case. It is paid in advance by e-transfer. The interview is not limited in time. Its purpose is to determine what to do in order to resolve your situation. After the Consultation you can decide whether you want to open a file with me. At that time, I will be in a position to provide you an approximate cost of representing you as your lawyer.
That depends on the nature of the case and on your willingness to negotiate an agreement. As a lawyer I always try to make a deal so that the client can avoid the time, emotional energy and costs involved in attending a trial.
